Champions!

October 13▬ No.. I didn't watch the Game 3 of DLSU vs UST yesterday. I was able to reserve a ticket for myself but because I'm too lazy to line up, pay and claim my ticket, I decided to just let it go. Besides, most of my friends weren't going to watch it live. Don't get me wrong. I really wanted to watch it and finally have a picture with Thomas Torres (screams) and the rest of the team. It just doesn't feel the same if I'll be watching it alone so I gave the reservation to my friend, Carlos as a graduation gift (suggested by Kim). I wanted to sell it because I get ten times more the money I spent for the ticket. But no. I would prefer a fellow LaSallian supporter to watch it in my stead.

I also didn't watch the game on TV. I promised to go shopping with a friend. Funny I was wearing a yellow jacket, black cropped top and orange shorts. As if I was supporting the Growling Tigets. HAHA! It was unintentional of course. I only realized it on our way to the mall. 

Thanks to Kim, we get quick updates about the game. When UST had more than 10-point lead. We kept on saying: Kaya pa yan! 2nd half pa lang. And when the score tied and had overtime, we were nervous and tried diverting our attention to the clothes in the shop. So when Kim finally called and told that DLSU won with a score of 71-69, we were screaming in Greenbelt. HAHA! Several turned their heads toward us. We didn't mean to get any attention by screaming. We just couldn't help it. I mean... we won!!! I haven't watched the replay of the game but I'm sure the Growling Tigers also put a big fight. 

Victory party on Thursday! I will definitely get a shot with Thomas Torres! Teehee! ♥

September 1▬ I watched the DLSU vs ADMU game live. It's the second time for me. The first was last year of September where the Green Archers lost against the Blue Eagles. But this year it's different. The Green Archers won against the Blue Eagles with scores of 64-66.

The first three quarters were in favor of the Blue Eagles. Even though it seemed like we were losing, I knew we still had a chance of winning the game because I believe that the real game starts during the fourth quarter. Kiefer Ravena is one heck of a good player. It was a really close call, thanks to Jeron Teng for making the most important shot, Vosotros for making several 3-point shots and the rest of the team for putting their utmost effort.

The coach of Ateneo complained some things about the game. I don't really know much about basketball but I enjoy watching it especially with my friends by my side. I watched it with Kim, JC, and Carlos as we cheered to our hearts content. I was supposed to be in GenAd part of Araneta but with a few tricks and help from friends, I got into UpperBox B.  I overslept during the ticket reservation so I was the only one with a GenAd ticket. HAHA! And no I didn't jump from GenAd to get to UpperBox. Like I said, a few tricks. Medyo Bad Girl lang noh? HAHA! This has been a wonderful experience for me but I don't really want to do it again. Twice is enough. My luck might run out the next time I do that.... NOT! HAHA! Crazy~

For me, the best part of the game isn't Jeron's final shot but... okay fine, it is Jeron's shot. HAHA!

DLSU vs ADMU

It was my first time to watch a UAAP Basketball game live. I rarely watch even when it's on television. I wasn't really planning to go because I didn't have a ticket. I'm not the patient type (not always but most of the time) so I didn't fall in line to buy one. Hey! It took them three to four hours! Some even longer just to buy a ticket or two!!! No thanks. HAHA!

I was lucky enough to spot a fellow LaSallian selling his extras. He sold it at a higher price of course. It didn't cost me thousands of pesos. I'm not that desperate. HAHA! Bought two tickets from him. One for me, another for my friend who also didn't have a ticket. 

Most of my friends got the Upper Box seats while we got the Gen Ad. With their help, we were able to squeeze ourselves in to get to the upperbox. Thankfully, security wasn't tight. HAHA! 

I was so absorbed in the game I kept shouting all over trying to do some cheering, not jeering. HAHA! My throat hurts. Got no voice after the game. Too bad DLSU lost. I was really expecting that they will win. The score difference by the end of third quarter made me hope that they might actually make it to the finals. But no... it was too early to celebrate. I can't believe the game affected me. I was quiet with a blank stare after the game. I only realized it when it felt weird no one's talking. Whoa... so quiet. HAHA!  Well... Let's just accept it.

I like how they included the little archers in a cheering part. HEHE! ♥

It was a close game. We ended up with a 63-66 score. Not bad compared to our previous game with Ateneo. Still a good job for our basketball players. We'll back down for now... but next year, DLSU will reign as champion! BWAHAHAHA! >:)) ANIMO LA SALLE!
